Which diet worked best for you?

Two different diets worked for me during the past 15 years. One was really extreme, consisting of 600 per day. I lost 70 pounds in about 6 months. However, I’ve gained everything back in a little over a year. I was eating 2 apples per day, light soup, a small piece of white meat and salad. I wasn’t allowed to eat or drink anything past 6 in the afternoon.
The second one was the Dukan diet. This one made me literally sick after one year because it is based on eating way too much protein. However, it worked and I lost around 70 pounds as well. I gained the weight back in a shorter amount of time than the previous one.
