Overcoming temptations

Temptations are lying in wait for us to sabotage your dieting efforts and one such place you will be tempted is the supermarket. It is important that you do not go to the supermarket hungry or you will be tempted to buy a chocolate bar for a snack. The snacking sin starts when you justify your actions. Once you have enjoyed your so-called treat you create other situations when it is okay to snack on chocolate bars and before you know it you have eaten four or five bars in a day. A recovering alcoholic is just one drink away from falling back into old habits and it is no different from those establishing new eating habits. One has to be an uncompromising attitude otherwise you will justify the occasions when you cheat on your diet then the excuses will follow. It is all about taking responsibility for your actions and not blaming others or circumstances for your dieting downfalls.
