You can Cheat around this though. If you change the temperature you bathe and manage your sleep , you can make your body more adaptable to any stress.
The first trick is to take cold showers.
Your fat cells (adipose tissue) can learn to consider burning the fat instead of storing it when it’s cold.
When you do a cold shower your body thinks of producing its own heat, by burning its own fat. (And you also become more courageous, cold showers sure can take courage!).

The Second trick is to sleep fully and take a nap during the day. Your body will not only live longer but recycle the hunger hormones you accumulate during the day (less hungry = less stressed). When you sleep you diminish adrenaline, cortisol, and hunger hormones (Leptin and ghrelin). So a nap will boost your day.
Now that you surely know that stress lowers your fat-burning capacity.
